Alvid Productions, Inc. is the corporate name of the professional partnership of John D’Amico and Heather Mackenzie.

They produce and write award-winning videos for corporations, production and marketing companies, television, and public service agencies. Alvid's clients include the American Heart Association, BNSF Railway, the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, Microsoft, HP (formerly EDS), The Discovery Channel and Court TV.

Alvid produced the multi-award winning Protecting God’s Children^® videos on behalf of National Catholic Services, LLC. Protecting God’s Children^® includes a two-part video for training supervisors, employees, and volunteers in discovering, addressing and preventing sexual abuse of children. Protecting God’s Children^® has won international recognition from the Omni, Communicator, Telly and Aegis Award programs.

John D'Amico is a twenty-year veteran of television news who has won two Emmys for his work as a news producer and Executive Producer. He continues to act as a field producer for CBS when national news stories break in Texas.

Heather Mackenzie is also an award-winning veteran of television news. She has reported for stations in Michigan, Ohio, Florida, and Dallas, Texas. She has also written, produced, and served as on camera and voice talent for corporate videos in Florida, Texas and Oklahoma.
